Sunday 6 May 2018 saw the Windmill open for the its 39th new season.

The newly erected noticeboard/display cabinet welcomed visitors at the South Door, as did the brand new slate date plaque arranged and donated by Keith & Vanessa West.

Especially pleasing was the number of new volunteers who attended on the day for ‘training’. A leaflet drop to homes in the local vicinity has proved very fruitful  with around 15 potential new volunteers coming forward to offer help in all aspects of the mill. This includes a young man working towards his Duke of Edinburgh Award.  THANKYOU

Sunday 6 May

A beautiful day

 40th Anniversary season.

Sunday 5 May 2019, the Windmill opens for an anniversary season

The doors were opened to the general public for the first time in July 1979. This was the result of a lot of hard work by volunteers and the newly formed Friends of West Blatchington Windmill.

A big celebratory fair marked the exact anniversary. This was open d by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, alongside the Hove MP. See the full gallery here.
